June 2001 - On this particular day, outside daytime

temperature peaked at about 107 degrees Fahrenheit. The home is
approximately 3200 square feet and there are two HV1000 whole
house coolers installed (note: Home has two central air units -
upstairs unit was not used at all during the day, there was very
little wind and temperatures were taken using an Oregon Scientific
Multi Channel Digital Thermo-Hygrometer):

The testing began at 7:30 pm PST when both HV1000 units were

"Quiet Unit That
Moves A Lot Of Air - Allows Us To Keep The A/C Off - Good Product"
- Scott Baron, Plainfield, IL 4/25/2007
"I just received my
1600 fan and installed it. It works great.
I had bought a very similar looking model from Home depot for
about half the price and installed it only to find that it sounded
like a 747 was in my family room. I took it out and replaced it
with yours. Your fan is so quiet we love it.
Thanks,"
Frank Giordano, 7/13/2006
"While you may not remember me, I
purchased two of your whole house fans last year. The house is
just now complete, and I thought you might like to know that it
appears as if the fans will work perfectly drawing in just the
right amount of breeze. The size of the home necessitated two
fans which we have located just at the top of the stairs. Thank
you for your time and product."
Dr. Mark M. Clinton,
OK. 5-27-2002.
"Thanks guys, we installed the whole house fan yesterday and
was quite surprised how effective it has been in cooling the
upstairs of our home. My husband installed the unit with the help
of a friend and except for climbing around in the hot attic, he
said it wasn't to bad. Now we can finally turn that darn air
conditioner off at night and not have to worry about paying higher
electric bills."
Mary K., Valencia CA.
"I installed it myself, not to difficult. My wife kicked on
the fan this morning and was happy with the results. We are still
working with the unit to determine which windows we should open
that way we cool the areas we utilize the most. It definitely
does cool our home."
Thanks,
Pascual, Kingsburg CA.
